International Development/Public Policy
Maya Ajmera's first academic book is Invisible Children: Reimagining International Development at the Grassroots written with Greg Fields. The motivations for Invisible Children stem from my professional experience at The Global Fund for Children, exposure to the quiet heroes who devote their lives to changing the landscapes of marginalized children at the grassroots, and to a real desire to create a volume of work that students could turn to and understand the plight of children globally. The book is published by Palgrave Macmillan and due to be released in June 2016.
